Starting in Spring of 2016, I will be offering guide services for Killarney Provincial Park and Algonquin Provincial backcountry camping trips. Suitable for anyone, no matter how little experience they have in the woods. I will provide you with the information to help get you started. We’ll go through route planning and booking your sites through Ontario Parks, meal planning and prep, gear needed, physical requirements, and the mental benefits you’ll gain from some time in the woods. I can provide the food and gear, and will help you get together a plan for both. The rates below do not include canoe rental(but we can arrange it), unless it’s for one person, then we use mine, or gear like tents and sleeping bags, or food. What you will get is the benefit of my experience as a backcountry traveller. I’ll also provide the cooking implements and stoves/fuel, water purification, help in getting there and setting up camp, help in meal prep and clean up, some great campfire tales, smores!, guidance to great spots for photography or painting/sketching(including many sites painted by members of The Group Of Seven!), hikes along the ridge tops of Killarney, hikes along the game trails with the possibility of seeing fauna of some type and help finding some great fishing holes. I promise you a time you will never forget!

First things first!  Figure out when and where you’d like to go, so we can reserve your site ASAP! If you don’t know where you’d like to go, give me a call, or send an e-mail, and we’ll figure it out. We’ll have to book your site with Ontario Parks.  It’s easy to do online, takes minutes, and we can book your site up to 5 months in advance.

       GUIDING RATES:

$40 for a two hour Trip Planning session

$180 for one person for 3 days/ $270- 5 days

$270 for two people for 3 days/ $400- 5 days

$360 for three people for 3 days/ $540- 5 days

$35 per day for each person on top of the three.
